The Mimeo Story

Mimeo has been innovating the way customers print and distribute their documents since 2000. But our story started years earlier.

One day in 1992, Mimeo co-founder Jeff Stewart was waiting in line at yet another copy shop to print his presentations. Summoning all of his patience while trying not to stress over a looming deadline triggered a thought…

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a better way to do this?
A way that did not involve having to stand in line.
Instead, you could digitally send your documents to print from anywhere.
And you could be 100% confident that your presentation would arrive in the right place at the right time.

Jeff realized he would have to build this solution and in 1998 he reached out to several of his friends and future Mimeo co-founders including David Uyttendaele and John Delbridge, whom he met when he was a freshman at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Together, they created one of the first cloud-based printing services, disrupting the printing industry at the time. The rest is history.

Offering an easy-to-use yet cutting-edge platform, Mimeo puts business professionals in control of their documents, giving them time back to focus on what they do best.

John Delbridge
Chief Executive Officer
John Delbridge is one of the founding team members of Mimeo.com, Inc. Prior to Mimeo, John served as a Vice President in Equity Research at Salomon Smith Barney. He also served on the staff of the Chief Administrative Officer at Salomon Brothers. John is the recipient of the 2014 Rensselaer Entrepreneur of the Year award and was a founding Board member of Venture for America, a fellowship program that places top college graduates in start-ups for 2-years in low-cost U.S. cities.

David Uyttendaele
Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder
David Uyttendaele is one of the founding members of Mimeo.com, Inc. Prior to Mimeo, David co-founded Square Earth, which later merged with Proxicom. Before that, David served in the IT departments of Chase and Salomon Brothers and as a member of Microsoft’s Internet Advisory Board. David is the recipient of the 2014 Rensselaer Entrepreneur of the Year award. Education: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, BS in Electrical Engineering.

Mike Barker

Prior to joining Mimeo, Mike served in the U.S. Navy in various shore and sea assignments globally where he provided operational and IT leadership. Education: The University of Maryland UC, BS in Information Systems Management, Christian Brothers University, MBA

Sean Doherty
GM, Mimeo Photos, and US School Planners
Sean Doherty serves as the General manager for Mimeo Photos and US School Planners for Mimeo.com, Inc. Prior to Mimeo, Sean held several roles at FedEx, most recently managing the eCommerce team for FedEx Office. He also served on the cross operating company innovation team at FedEx. Sean is a current board member for the Rutgers Big Data program which focuses on continuing to educate people on Big Data and Business. Education: Syracuse University, BS in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, Tulane University, MBA in Consumer Behavior and International Business

Ann McDonald
VP of Talent and Learning and Development
Ann is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the company’s PEOPLE programs and processes by putting the right tools and systems in place to optimize our human capital investment. She directly oversees US Talent Operations and Global L & D and Talent Management strategies. Ann has over 20 years of experience as a talent leader with a history of consistently improving performance and business results through innovative methods and strategic talent management initiatives. She holds multiple Talent related certifications including Human Capital Institute Strategic Workforce Planning and Agile Performance Management and has been SPHR certified. Education: ESU, B.A. Communications-Journalism, Villanova University, Master Certificate of Human Resource Management

Oliver Doughtie
Chief Financial Officer
Oliver spent four years with The Restaurant Company where he was responsible for accounting and financial reporting. Prior to that he was an accountant at Arthur Andersen, LLP. Oliver is also a Certified Public Accountant. Education: University of Mississippi, BA Accounting, University of Mississippi, MA Accounting

Richard Bomar
VP of Operations
Richard Bomar is the VP of Operations for the Mimeo in the US. Prior to Mimeo, Richard was Sr. Director and General Manager at Flextronics, where he led large repair, assembly, and distribution operations in the Memphis area for 16+ years. Education: MBA from the University of Memphis, BA in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
