Linking Pages within a Document (Mimeo Digital)

Digital documents are often more powerful when they are interactive. Mimeo Digital supports PDFs that are built with interactive elements such as a custom table of contents or links from one page to another.

  1. Open your document in Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF editing software
  2. Select the text where you want to create your link and right-click
  3. Select “Create Link”
  4. Edit the link appearance as you prefer
  5. Under “Link Action” select “Go to a page view”
  6. Click the “Next button. You’ll see instructions asking you to set the target.
  7. Scroll to the page you want to link to then click the “Set Link” button
  8. Save your PDF and upload it to Mimeo Digital
  1. Open your document in Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF editing software
  2. Find the area you want to link from
  3. Under the “Content” section of the Tools menu, select “Link”
  4. Use the mouse to create a rectangular link area
  5. Edit the link appearance as you prefer
  6. Under “Link Action” select “Go to a page view”
  7. Click the “Next button. You’ll see instructions asking you to set the target.
  8. Scroll to the page you want to link to then click the “Set Link” button
  9. Save your PDF and upload it to Mimeo Digital

Note: For both of the above methods, when you set your target, the page location and zoom level are included. This means you can target the middle of a page and even have it zoomed way in. Set the view exactly as you want it before clicking the “Set Link” button.
